Unmanned Aircraft Systems Emerging Threat (UASET)
UASET-19-MLE1X
In response to emerging UAS threats, TMG established the UAS Emerging Threat (UASET) Course hosted at our FLETC Charleston, SC Corporate Office. This is a 3-day course taught by FAA Certified UAS Pilots and designed to provide Protective Service Personnel with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and potentially mitigate the hazards associated hostile UAS. During this course, students learn to identify different UAS platforms and their specific capabilities and limitations. Through Instructor demonstrations and practical exercises, students observe the limitations and hazards of live fire mitigation techniques, perform UAS flight operations and perform practical exercises with TMG’s dropper drones.
Mobile UAS 101
UAS101-19-MLE2X
Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) 101 Mobile Course In response to emerging UAS threats, TMG established the Mobile UAS 101 Course, designed to be presented at any customer specified location. This 1-day course is designed to provide all levels of personnel with UAS exposure, knowledge and awareness skills necessary to identify, accurately report and potentially mitigate the hazards associated with hostile/unauthorized UAS encounters. This is accomplished through both classroom training and practical demonstrations, designed to immerse the student in a UAS operating environment, managed by TMG SMEs with years of flight experience.
UASET Leadership
UASETL-19-MLE3X
UASET-Leadership-MTT This 2-day course provides Leadership personnel with sUAS knowledge and awareness to identify, report and mitigate hazards associated with hostile/unauthorized UAS encounters and brief them on current and emerging Laws/Regulations pertaining to sUAS operations. Using both classroom training and practical demonstrations, students are immersed in a realistic and relevant sUAS operating environment.
UAS Pilot Licensing and Sustainment Certification (UPLSC) Course
UPLSC-19-UAS
The UAS Pilot Licensing and Sustainment Certification (UPLSC) course is designed to provide personnel with the knowledge and skills necessary to manufacture, repair and sustain a fleet of customer owned UAS platforms of various types and manufacturers. Additionally, students receive a comprehensive Part 107 Exam preparation and a Part 107 Exam coordinated by TMG personnel. During UPLSC, we provide students with experience manufacturing and repairing common UAS platforms. By the conclusion of this course, students will have built their own fully functional Fixed Wing and Multirotor UAS platforms. These platforms will remain with the student at the conclusion of this course as a “take home” in addition to the Part 107 License and the TMG UAS Reference Guide.
Drone Builder
DBUAS-19-UAS
The UAS Builder Course is designed to provide personnel with the knowledge and skills necessary to manufacture, repair and sustain a fleet of customer owned UAS Platforms through hands-on practical exercises and experiences. By the conclusion of the course, students will have built their own fully functional Fixed Wing and Multirotor UAS Platforms. These platforms and a copy of TMG’s Proprietary UAS Reference Guide will remain with the student at the conclusion of the course as “take home” material.
Part 107 Pilot Ceritification
P107-19-UAS
In response to emerging need for DoD, Agency and other First Responders to incorporate Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) into both their training regimen and/or operational capabilities, TMG established the FAA Part 107 License Prep Course hosted at our FLETC Charleston, SC Corporate Office. The intense five-day course was designed to assist Military, Public Safety and government agencies/departments operating in the National Air Space (NAS) and looking to build a UAS Program for their jurisdiction/region/AOR/Unit. This course covers FAA CFR PART 107 exam outline and test preparation. It provides students with the tools necessary to pass PART 107 exam, select flight team members and perform UAS flight operations from experienced UAS instructors that have conducted UAS missions across the globe.

Advanced Drone Flight Operations Training (ADFOT)
ADFOT-19-UAS
Learn how to maximize your drone with advanced flight training at our flight locations. TMG has a very large flight operations area to learn without fear of loosing your drone. In addition, TMG’s Urban Training Center allows for “Off GPS” indoor flight.
Students will learn the fundamental operations of various small unmanned aerial system (sUAS) through a combination of classroom and flight instruction. Classroom instruction reviews sUAS hardware, firmware, and RC basics and maintenance. Flight instruction teaches the student basic, skilled, and advanced flight techniques with the various sUAS platforms.
Successful course completion requires the student to thoroughly review, perform, and test in each instruction phase. Assignments and testing may be modified at the instructor’s discretion.
Course Objectives At the completion of this course, the student will be able to
• Understand the internal operations of various sUAS.
• Understand how to use the Assistant Software to maintain, configure, and update the sUAS.
• Understand the need for and practice of basic flight in using various sUAS.
• Perform emergency maneuvers in flight.
• Apply principles of practical flight control during aerial operations.
